From Result to Action

1. Preparation

Ensure you establish a good foundation before discussing the results. Think about the purpose of the session, who is facilitating the conversation (internal or external), and create the right setting for an open and constructive discussion.. Feel free to set aside a morning or afternoon for this.

Discussing results

Review the key findings together, such as the open-ended responses and the top 5 qualities and areas for improvement. Have each team member write down which points weigh most heavily for them. Gather these, group them by topic and jointly choose a maximum of four focus areas to work on as a team.

3. Drawing up a plan of action

Develop the chosen points into concrete actions, for example in small groups to save time. Determine how you can maintain the strengths and which steps are needed to address the areas for improvement. Please also use the improvement suggestions from the open answers.

4. Follow-up and monitoring

Make the plan concrete: clearly agree on what is going to happen, who is responsible and when the action must be completed. Don't forget to schedule an evaluation moment immediately to check whether the actions have the desired effect..
